Jacob Guzman - Assistant Coach

Hello everyone and hello Gamers. My name is Jacob Guzman.  I am 27 years old born and raised in San Diego. I love San Diego and the Gamers! The Gamers got my entire career started with competitive baseball. For that I am truly grateful. I continued to further my skills at Santana High School and Palomar College where I was drafted by the Kansas City Royals as a catcher. I  played six years with the Royals. During those six years I went to big league spring training twice and played for the Royals AAA Omaha Golden Spikes. I had an absolute blast! I was invited to instructional league on two occasions and was lucky enough to have a hitting coach by the name of George Brett. That was awesome! I learned a lot and am excited to be back with the Gamers. I can't wait to share all my knowledge and skill with the current Gamers.

Thank you for having me.
